Guides for the measurement of electromagnetic fields and review of standards and recommandations Abstract Electromagnetic fields are ubiquitous in the workplace, and there is some concern about their effects on the health of workers. Equipment to measure electromagnetic fields is available to specialists in the public health network, but they must be used correctly and their readings interpreted appropriately. This project produced a series of source-specific user guides for this equipment. The guides, based on literature reviews and data from field studies, identify measurement parameters, explain applicable standards, and present recommendations.
