The IRSST has published its 2025 activity report, celebrating its 45 years of service to workplaces!

This report presents the main scientific and technical achievements of the year, completed research projects, and achievements linked to the 2022-2025 Strategic Plan.

In 2025, the Institute had 122 active research projects, supported by sustained scientific output and strong knowledge mobilization, confirming its role as a leader in occupational health and safety.

These research activities led to 86 new scientific publications, including 63 journal articles and several reports, methods and tools designed to support workplaces.

Highlights of the year included the launch of the ObservatoireSST, and the development of new knowledge diffusion and transfer initiatives, in particular on the topic of respiratory protective equipment (RPE). Our laboratory services have also experienced in an increase in demand and greater diversity among lab clients, confirming the constant growth in clients served.

In conclusion, the IRSST also continued its efforts to raise its profile, including through its collaborations with Savoir média (the series Facteurs de risque – En 1 minute and Parlons job) and the new season of our podcast La SST expliquée, which provides content for the general public, contributing to making research accessible and useful for prevention.
