Today, the IRSST is launching the call for applications for its scholarship and fellowship program for master’s, doctoral and postdoctoral candidates whose research work deals specifically with the prevention of industrial accidents and occupational diseases or the rehabilitation of affected workers.
The deadline to submit an application for the IRSST’s 2024–2025 competition for graduate studies scholarships and postdoctoral fellowships is Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at 4 p.m. The results will be announced in April 2024.
Changes in the program
Increase in the annual value of scholarships and scholarship supplements for master’s and doctoral programs:
- The annual value of the master’s scholarship has risen to $19,000.
- The master’s scholarship supplement will be $5,000 per year.
- The annual value of the doctoral scholarship will reach $23,750.
- The doctoral scholarship supplement will be $6,250 per year.
For recipients of master’s and doctoral scholarships and scholarship supplements (2023–2024 Competition) who have received the first instalment of their scholarship for the summer 2023 session, the amount will be adjusted retroactively in the fall 2023 session.
