Analysis:

Soufre, dioxyde de

Method: IRSST - 8-B
Sampling device:
Parameters:
Flow rate: -
TWA sampling volume: -
STEL sampling volume: -
Remarks: Refer to the user's guide accompanying the instrument.
Principle: Direct reading instrument-Electrochemical cell (DRI-elec)
Remarks: Sulfur dioxide is quantified in the field with a direct-reading instrument (DRI). The minimum reported value is 1.3 mg/m³ (0.5 ppm). The reference method corresponds to calibration of the DRI.

Soufre, dioxyde de

Recommended method by the IRSST:
Method: OSHA - ID200
Sampling device: Impregnated Anasorb 747 tube preceded by a filter #SKC 226-80
Parameters:
Flow rate: 0,1 L/min
TWA sampling volume: 12 L
STEL sampling volume: 1,5 L
Remarks: This substance is not analyzed by our laboratories. It might be possible that the analysis be performed by another laboratory. Please contact the IRSST before sampling.
Principle: Ion chromatography with conductivity detection (IC-CD)
Remarks: The analytical result for the particles collected on filter is expressed as sulfate.
