Remarks: The sampling train consists of a cassette that will collect the PAHs in particulate form, followed by the sampling tube that will adsorb the PAHs in vapour form. This tube is connected directly to the pump by Tygon tubing. After sampling, the samples must be stored in the freezer protected from light. The tubes and filters must be shipped together and identified to match respectively. 21 PAHs are determined simultaneously. See the info-labos 2008-14 and 2014-02.

Principle: Gas chromatography with mass spectrometry (GC-MS)
Minimum reported value: 0,3 µg
Remarks: On the certificate of analysis, the benzofluoranthene's isomer concentration is expressed as benzo(b+j+k)fluoranthene. Thus, the result includes all benzofluoranthene isomers since they cannot be adequately separated by our chromatographic method. CVa for cassette and tube analysis are respectively 3.4% and 1.2%.
