Principle: Inductively coupled plasma spectrometry (ICP-MS)
Remarks: The minimum reported value (MRV) is 0.8 µg for respirable particles and 1.6 µg for inhalable particles. The analytical uncertainty (CVa) is 3.1% for respirable particles and 4.4% for inhalable particles. This method allows the analysis of chemical elements present in the sample without distinguishing the different chemical forms. The analytical results are expressed as copper, respirable and inhalable fractions.
