Consult REPTOX file: Methyl demeton(IFV)

Analysis:

Méthyl déméton

Recommended method by the IRSST:
Method: NIOSH - 5514
Sampling device: XAD-2 tube in series with a mixed cellulose ester filter
Parameters:
Flow rate: 0,2-1 L/min
TWA sampling volume: 200 L
STEL sampling volume: -
Remarks: The recommanded method for Methyl demeton is suitable for both vapor and aerosol phases. The aerosol phase might be underestimated because the efficiency of the sampling device does not match the inhalable fraction definition. For more information, please contact the IRSST. This substance is not analyzed by our laboratories. It might be possible that the analysis is performed by another laboratory. Please contact the IRSST before sampling.
Principle: Gas chromatography with flame photometric detection (GC-FPD)
Remarks: NIOSH method 5514 is for demeton® and can be adapted to methyl demeton.
