Analysis:

Combustible gas and simple asphyxiant

Recommended method by the IRSST:
Method: MANUEL - ILD
Sampling device:
Parameters:
Flow rate: -
TWA sampling volume: -
STEL sampling volume: -
Remarks: Since this contaminant is a simple asphyxiant, the field method for determination of oxygen in air is done with a direct reading instrument-Electrochemical sensor (DRI-elec). A combustible gas detector (DRI-EX) is used for analyzing flammables gases as a percentage of their lower explosive limit. Refer to the user's guide accompanying the instrument.
Principle: Direct reading instrument-Combustible gas detector and electrochemical cell (ILD-EX/PEL)
Direct Reading Instrument (DRI). Consult the manufacturer's manual.
