Remarks:
Since argon is a simple asphyxiant, the field method for determination of oxygen in air is done with a direct-reading instrument (DRI).
Analytical protocol
Principle:
Direct reading instrument-Electrochemical cell (DRI-elec)
Remarks:
The minimum reported value is 1% oxygen. The reference method corresponds to calibration of the DRI.
