Analysis:

Dinitro-ortho-crésol

Recommended method by the IRSST:
Method: NIOSH - S166
Sampling device: Mixed cellulose ester filter in series with a glass fritted tip impinger containing 10 mL of ethylene glycol
Parameters:
Flow rate: 1,5 L/min
TWA sampling volume: 180 L
STEL sampling volume: -
Remarks: The filter is added to the contents of the impinger at the end of sampling. The recommended method for Dinitro-ortho-cresol is suitable for both vapor and aerosol phases. The recommended method for phthalic anhydride is suitable for both vapor and aerosol phases. The aerosol phase might be underestimated because the efficiency of the sampling device does not match inhalable fraction definition. For more information, please contact the IRSST. This substance is not analyzed by our laboratories. It might be possible that the analysis is performed by another laboratory. Please contact the IRSST before sampling.
Principle: High performance liquid chromatography with UV detection (HPLC-UV)
