Analysis:

Silice cristalline cristobalite par DRX

Method: IRSST - 206-2
Sampling device:
Sampling media required:
#IRSSTDescription
902 Preweighed PVC filter, 37 mm, 5 µm

Parameters:
Flow rate: 1,7 (nylon) 2,75 (GS3) 2 (PPI) L/min
TWA sampling volume: 800 L
STEL sampling volume: -
Remarks: For sampling, the use of a particle selector is required. One commonly used selector is the cyclone. The GS3 cyclone must be used with #997 cassette. As an alternative to the cyclone, the parallel particle impactor (PPI) can also be used at a flow rate of 2 L/min, with cassette 940. To obtain the crystalline silica content in percentage, a gravimetric analysis on the collected sample is also required.
Principle: X-ray diffraction (XRD)
Precision (%): 8
Minimum reported value: 8 µg
