10th International Conference on Safety of Automated Systems (SIAS)

10th International Conference on Safety of Automated Systems (SIAS)

The 10th International Conference on Safety of Automated Systems (SIAS) will be held online on July 6-7, 2021. Leading specialists in the field have been invited to give keynote addresses at this 10th SIAS conference: four keynote speakers, two panel discussions, and six-featured paper presentations will be live-streamed.

The SIAS provides an ideal opportunity for taking stock of advances that have been made in knowledge of industrial machine safety and analytical methods, while providing a clearer understanding of human/machine interactions.

The Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, cloud computing as well as other new technologies have emerged in the era of what is called the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and radically transforming a wide range of industries. The potential for new technologies to inject innovation into the field of industrial automated systems is expanding and providing new values and improving productivity across a broad spectrum of industrial sectors. Industries that have lagged behind in utilizing machines are beginning to introduce new types of industrial and mobile robots, redefining the relationship between humans and machines.

SIAS is a prestigious safety event first organized in 1999 by internationally renowned experts from safety-related institutions such as IRSST (Canada), INRS (France), and IFA (Germany).
