Profile

Rodica Tcaciuc is a research management advisor in the IRSST’s Research and Expertise Division and has been with the Institute since 2007. She holds a D.E.S.S. (specialized graduate diploma) in ergonomic intervention in occupational health and safety, as well as a master’s degree in ergonomics. Her master’s thesis was on risk factor assessment in the recognition of work-related carpal tunnel syndrome. Before coming to Québec, Ms. Tcaciuc, who is a medical school graduate, worked as a researcher at the Institute of Cardiology in Moldavia. She also holds a Ph.D. in medical sciences. Her current interests lie in research administration and the primary and secondary prevention of work-related musculoskeletal injuries.
