Daniel Côté is a researcher in the field of occupational rehabilitation at the IRSST. He obtained his Ph.D. in anthropology from Université de Montréal in 2007. His research interests are the study of pain representations and the social determinants of work disability. Mr. Côté has participated in the development of a research theme on workers in vulnerable situations, with a specific focus on immigrant workers and workers from ethnocultural minorities. The aim of his research program is to improve understanding of the rehabilitation and return-to-work process in the Québec context of ethnocultural pluralism.
