Damien Burlet-Vienney has worked in the IRSST’s Mechanical and Physical Risk Prevention research field since 2008. A member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and holder of a doctorate degree in industrial engineering from École polytechnique de Montréal, his area of expertise is industrial machine safety. Mr. Burlet-Vienney’s latest research has involved assessment of the risks related to machines, lockout/tagout (fixed machines and mobile units), confined space interventions, and collaborative robotics.
