Profile

Simon Aubin has worked as a scientific professional in the IRSST’s Laboratory Division since 2004. Since earning his master’s degree in chemistry from McGill University in 2000, he has worked continuously in the field of analytical chemistry. He has participated in the introduction or development of analytical methods and in research activities involving isocyanates, nitrosamines, inhalable dusts and asphalt fumes. Mr. Aubin also sits on the ISO TC146 SC2 WG4 Organic Vapours Work Group and on ASTM subcommittee D22.04 on Workplace Air Quality. He is currently a doctoral student in chemistry at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM).
