Profile

Delphine is a laboratory professional on the biological hazards team of the IRSST’s Laboratory Division. She coordinates technical staff within the microbiology laboratory and is the technical authority for the analysis methods provided by the laboratory, including identification of microorganisms with Vitek MS, with sequencing, and with ddPCR molecular detection. She is also responsible for heading up analytical development projects and contributes to the design of training in workplace biological hazards. Delphine has a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in microbiology and immunology from Université de Montréal; she also has experience in biomedical laboratories and in college-level teaching in the biomedical sciences. Delphine is a certified microbiologist with the Association des microbiologistes du Québec (AMQ).
