Profile

René Dufresne is a knowledge transfer advisor at the IRSST. He is responsible for partner relations and for the dissemination and transfer of knowledge for projects in the Mechanical and Physical Risk Prevention research field. After earning a master’s degree in ergonomics at Loughborough University in England and a doctorate from the École Pratique des Hautes Études in France, Mr. Dufresne worked for many years in joint sector-based organizations in Quebec, where he held positions as an ergonomics advisor and in prevention management.
