Profile

Audrey has worked as a scientific professional in the IRSST’s Laboratory Division since 2018. She is a member of the biological hazards team, where she is responsible for expert assessments, and also serves as biosecurity officer for the microbiology laboratory. She is involved in various projects to develop analytical methods and in the biological hazard training the team provides.

Holding a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology, with a concentration in molecular biology, and a master’s degree in biology, with microbiology as her area of study, from the Université de Sherbrooke, she has worked in industry as a coordinator of production and quality control laboratory activities.

Audrey is a certified microbiologist with the Association des microbiologistes du Québec (AMQ), a member of the Canadian College of Microbiologists (CCM) and accredited as a biochemist by the Ordre des chimistes du Québec (OCQ). Since 2022, she has participated in the ASTM’s Subcommittee D22.08 on Assessment, Sampling, and Analysis of Microorganisms.
