Mental health disorders are now classified among the most important causes of work absences. In Québec, they are responsible for 30% to 50% of the absenteeism due to long-term disability. This exploratory study will evaluate the implementation of the therapeutic return-to-work (TRW) program on 10 workers in a company in relation to precise selection criteria. The researchers will describe the components of this program and will identify the factors that impede or facilitate its application, in order to evaluate its feasibility and establish winning conditions. The knowledge originating from this study will allow prolonged work absences due to mental health problems to be better managed. The provincial adaptation-rehabilitation research network is contributing to this project.
