Interdisciplinary research consortium on knowledge transfer, industrial accidents and their context Abstract Researchers from the IRSST, the Université de Sherbrooke and Memorial University of Newfoundland, and members of SafetyNet obtained a joint grant from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) enabling them to create an interdisciplinary research consortium in occupational health and safety. Established for five years, this regional partnership of three organizations will take on new members. By doing so, the consortium can improve its capacity for research and knowledge transfer in occupational injuries, as well as offer multisite study periods, a knowledge transfer laboratory, three symposiums, and a summer institute. With the help of the Réseau en réadaptation au travail du Québec (RRTQ), it will propose graduate and postdoctoral training, will develop new analytical and prevention models, and will promote the rapid dissemination of research results to a broad range of economic sectors in Eastern Canada.
