Integrated analysis of data on the work of subway operators and on the vibrations to which they are exposed: study preparatory to carrying out the third aspect of the mini program Abstract This study is part of the miniprogram entitled “Integrated workstation ergonomic and vibration analysis and design projects: application to subway cabs”. Its aim is to prepare the tools and methods needed for joint analysis of the data on vibration and on the subway operators’ activity. It will also allow work hypotheses to be formulated and knowledge to be developed on the relationships between vibration exposure and the task of these workers. Based on criteria established in a previous study, it will also allow a driver’s cab prototype to be produced and tested. These technical and methodological developments will not only be beneficial in developing the third component of the miniprogram, but can also be used for other research projects, particularly on the ergonomics of vehicle driving.
