Development of a database of analytical methods for substances regulated by the Regulation Respecting the Quality of the Work Environment Abstract The recent revision of the list of chemicals regulated by the Regulation Respecting the Quality of the Work Environment has necessitated substantial modification of the IRSST's sampling guide for contaminants in workplace air, a document which the Regulation references. In response to requests from several specialists for a real-time version of the guide, the Institute undertook work on facilitating access to this information. All the information on regulated chemicals and on methods for their evaluation was entered into a database that is more comprehensive and up-to-date than the print version. Since January 1999, this database has been available on the IRSST’s website.
