Accident prevention guide - hazardous trees Abstract The fall of trees weakened by diseases, parasites or other causes is an ever-present risk for forestry workers. This project produced a guide that helps them identify and avoid such trees. To this end, field observations were performed and the available documentation on the subject gathered with the help of various members of the forestry sector. The guide describes the typical features of hazardous trees, and helps forestry supervisors communicate necessary safety information to workers. Other forestry agencies may also find the guide useful.
