Posture et activité musculaire du dos et des membres supérieurs chez les femmes enceintes pendant le travail à l'ordinateur Résumé Dans une étude précédente, des femmes enceintes indiquaient qu'une station assise prolongée, souvent associée au travail à l'ordinateur, leur causait problème. Les chercheurs évalueront, entre autres, l'effet de l'utilisation d'une plateforme qui modifie la surface de travail. Celle-ci, conçue pour être posée sur un bureau, offre, par sa forme courbe, un soutien additionnel aux bras. Elle permettrait aux femmes enceintes de se rapprocher de leur surface de travail sans avoir à se pencher comme elles le font actuellement. L'étude comparera la posture et l'activité musculaire du dos, des épaules, des bras, des coudes et des poignets de femmes à leur dernier trimestre de grossesse, de même que de femmes qui ne sont pas enceintes, avec et sans plateforme. Les résultats aideront les chercheurs, intervenants en SST, médecins, ergonomes, sages femmes et obstétriciens à comprendre comment les femmes enceintes adaptent leur posture à leur état. Ils indiqueront également l'utilité de la plateforme testée.Ce projet s'inscrit dans le cadre d'une subvention du Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), pour la réalisation d'un projet en collaboration entre l'Université Queen et l'IRSST.
