Renewal of Marie Larue’s contract

Montréal, June 1, 2018 – The chair of the Board of Directors of the Institut de recherche Robert-Sauvé en santé et en sécurité du travail (IRSST), Manuelle Oudar, is pleased to announce that Marie Larue’s contract as president and CEO has been renewed.

Marie LarueA Certified Corporate Director, chemist and toxicologist, Mme Larue was appointed president and CEO of the IRSST in 2008 after performing important functions at the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) as director of prevention-inspection and director of compensation and rehabilitation.

“In accordance with the Règlement général de l’Institut de recherche Robert-Sauvé en santé et en sécurité du travail following consultation among members of the Board of Directors, Mme Larue’s contract was renewed until the end of August 2019. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I thank her for having accepted to take on this responsibility again. I wish her as much success as she has had since she first took up the post,” said Mme Oudar.
