COMMISSION DES NORMES, DE L’ÉQUITÉ, DE LA SANTÉ ET DE LA SÉCURITÉ DU TRAVAIL (CNESST)
The CNESST operates in three main areas of occupational health and safety: prevention and inspection, compensation and rehabilitation of workers who have suffered a work-related accident or occupational disease, and funding the Quebec occupational health and safety program. JOINT SECTOR-BASED ASSOCIATIONS
The purpose of joint sector-based associations (in French, ASPs) is to promote occupational accident and disease prevention by establishing mechanisms to eliminate hazards to the health, safety and physical integrity of workers at source and to encourage employers and employees to assume joint responsibility for prevention. PREVENTION MUTUAL GROUPS
A prevention mutual group is an association of employers who join together to prevent workplace accidents and diseases and provide rehabilitation and return-to-work services to workers who have suffered an occupational injury.
