The Institut de recherche Robert-Sauvé en santé et en sécurité du travail (IRSST), established in Québec since 1980, is a scientific research organization well-known for the expertise of its personnel and the quality of its work. Mission - To contribute, through research, to the prevention of industrial accidents and occupational diseases and to the rehabilitation of affected workers;
- To disseminate knowledge and serve as a scientific reference centre and expert; .

RIPOST (Recherches sur les interrelations personnelles, organisationnelles et sociales du travail) is a research team that has been investigating work-related issues for more than 20 years. The studies conducted by the team concern in particular the effects of changes in workplaces; psychological harassment; mechanisms for integration and reintegration into the labour force and job retention; and the implementation and evaluation of interventions aimed at improving working conditions.
The RIPOST team reports to the Centre de santé et de services sociaux (CSSS) de la Vieille-Capitale (a university-affiliated centre) and receives funding under the team research project program of the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Society and Culture (FRQ-SC).
