Securing a commitment involves taking a number of concrete actions right from the start.
However, it is important to remember that commitment is above all a process that is built incrementally and pursued over a period of months or even years and that it is not limited to a simple initial step.
It is therefore important to define, right from the outset, ways of ensuring the sustainability of the commitment.
The commitment must not come solely from the representatives of each of these parties, but also from all the other persons who will be involved throughout the process, including employees and managers.
Such a partnership may be difficult for some organizations to form initially, particularly if they have experienced conflicts in the past. “Sitting down together” is the first step required, even if it can sometimes prove to be very arduous.
