Develop Content for a Tool to Improve the Intercultural Skills of CNESST Staff Through a Co-construction Approach

Abstract

The researchers wanted to develop a tool to assist in intercultural communication for and in conjunction with the staff of the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST).

This research activity should help with conceptualizing the conditions that foster the co-development process in a context in which all the actors do not necessarily share the same cultural reference points.

The tool, which will result from a subsequent knowledge transfer activity, is necessary for CNESST staff and will make it possible to optimize the time it takes to respond to immigrant workers who have suffered employment injuries.
