NEW WEB SITE
Protective gloves selection
The objective of this Web site is to provide necessary information for helping individuals and OH&S managers identify protective gloves corresponding to their needs. It will be progressively improved by the addition of other glove models and other properties.
Even if it has been designed for an occupational use, this guide can also be useful in the case of personal- and leisure-type activities.
COLLABORATION WITH THE ILO
The IRSST becomes a CIS Collaborating Center
The International Labour Organization (ILO) has just welcomed the IRSST into its network of CIS Centres as a Collaborating Centre for Canaouida. The International Occupational Safety and Health Information Centre (CIS) collects all relevant information published worldwide on occupational health and safety.

HATS OFF TO OUR SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS!
Results of the IRSST's 2010-2011 scholarship competition
Thirty-five students from eight Québec universities have been awarded scholarships by the Institut de recherche Robert-Sauvé en santé et en sécurité du travail (IRSST) for their research programs aimed at preventing work-related injuries or contributing to the rehabilitation of injured workers. They include eight master’s students, 22 doctoral students, and five postdoctoral fellows. The IRSST’S graduate studies scholarship and postdoctoral fellowship program is intended for applicants at the master’s, doctoral, and postdoctoral levels.
GUEST POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP
For the 2011-2012 competition, several changes and improvements have been made to the IRSST’s Graduate Studies Scholarship Program. The new aspects include the possibility for researchers to do their postdoctoral research at the IRSST under the supervision of one of its researchers.
