PROPANE-POWERED LIFT TRUCKS AND ICE RESURFACERS
Preventive maintenance for safe performance
Perfect combustion generates carbon dioxide and water vapour. When combustion is incomplete, it also produces gases that are more toxic, depending on the fuel and the condition of the components determined by their maintenance. Improper operation of these vehicles or their use in a small space or insufficiently ventilated space can expose workers to toxic gases.
OCCUPATIONAL REHABILITATION PROCESS
Differences in the Representations Held by Clinicians and Those Held by Workers Suffering from Musculoskeletal Disorders
The results of this exploratory study clearly made it possible to identify various scenarios for the differences that can occur between a clinician and a worker involved in occupational rehabilitation. The benefit of this type of clinical research is that it moves closer to the therapeutic reality of disability prevention, and thus takes into account factors that may affect the clinician/patient relationship, such as the administrative constraints inherent to this field. This study has implications for both research and clinical practice.
