Profile

Brigitte Roberge has worked at the IRSST since 1981. She is a registered occupational hygienist (ROH) with the Canadian Registration Board of Occupational Hygienists and a scientific professional in the Institute’s Chemical and Biological Hazard Prevention research field. Her focus is evaluating determinants associated with the risk of exposure to chemical contaminants. Her main work concerns gases emitted during propane-powered combustion, causal agents of asthma, and nanoparticles.  She coordinated the writing of the book titled Manuel d'hygiène du travail: du diagnostic à la maîtrise des facteurs de risque and collaborated in the writing of the chapter “Assessment of the workplace” for the book Asthma in the Workplace.
