Public Health and the Agricultural Rural Ecosystem Graduate Training Program (PHARE 2) Abstract Since June 2002, the IRSST has been contributing financially, with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), to the Public Health and the Agricultural Rural Ecosystem (PHARE) Graduate Training Program. This agreement has supported several scientific initiatives. As a result of the leverage effect produced by the contribution of partners from the private as well as the public sector, the health and agriculture research capacity has increased significantly. Therefore, due to the positive outcomes of PHARE, the IRSST is renewing its participation in this partnership agreement for the next five years. This will allow $125,000 to be awarded to Québec university students.
