Abstract

At the request of the Association paritaire pour la santé et la sécurité du travail du secteur du transport et de l'entreposage [Joint Health and Safety Association, Transportation and Warehousing Sector], the IRSST will establish a directory of the available means to prevent truck and trailer movement at loading docks. Available devices will be described and the principles of their operation and use explained. A summary evaluation of the devices' ability to reduce falls of dollies and a list of the main distributors and manufacturers will also be included.
