Towards Better Work and Well-being
The Finnish Institute of Occupational Health invites you to attend the International Conference "Towards Better Work and Well-being" to be arranged on 10-12 February 2010 in Helsinki, Finland. The aim of the Conference is to provide an opportunity to discuss strategies and tools for the promotion of health and well-being at the workplace as well as their links to productivity. Our aim is also to take a glance at and discuss the good practices, methods and tools, and service systems currently available for workplaces in different countries. The overall long-term objective is to improve health, safety, and well-being at workplaces. In this Conference, the concept of well-being comprises health, safety, psychosocial and work environmental domains.

Journées annuelles de santé publique (JASP) - Des réseaux et des gens
Grand rendez-vous annuel de formation continue de la santé publique québécoise, les Journées annuelles de santé publique abordent des sujets d'actualité, regroupent plus de 250 conférenciers et attirent annuellement quelque 2000 participants provenant de tous les domaines reliés de près ou de loin à la prévention. Les JASP accueillent ainsi depuis treize ans des professionnels, des médecins, des chercheurs, des professeurs, des étudiants, des gestionnaires, des psychologues, des nutritionnistes, des infirmières, des travailleurs sociaux et bien d'autres personnes concernées par la santé publique.

Activité du Réseau d'échanges sur la manutention (REM) - Déjeuner-causerie :
Saviez-vous que les jeunes travailleurs sont plus souvent victimes d'accidents de travail que leurs collègues plus âgés ? Bien que la témérité et le manque d'expérience sont souvent mis de l'avant pour expliquer ce risque accru, la réalité est beaucoup plus complexe. Lors de cette activité organisée par le Réseau d'échanges sur la manutention, Élise Ledoux, chercheure à l'IRSST, proposera des moyens d'action pour réussir une intégration sécuritaire et compétente des nouveaux travailleurs assignés à des tâches de manutention. Santé psychologique - Des solutions pour mieux intervenir dans les milieux de travail
La santé psychologique au travail constitue une thématique prioritaire de recherche pour l'Institut de recherche Robert-Sauvé en santé et en sécurité du travail (IRSST). Au cours des dernières années, de nombreux projets de recherche sur les risques psychosociaux et les effets sur la santé psychologique en milieu de travail ont été subventionnés. Le colloque «Santé psychologique : des solutions pour mieux intervenir dans les milieux de travail» offre une occasion de bénéficier des résultats de ces travaux de recherche réalisés par les experts dans le domaine. Cette journée permettra de perfectionner vos connaissances et d'acquérir des outils pour intervenir dans vos milieux.
