This bilingual computer-based tool makes it possible to access the permissible exposure values (PEVs) in Schedule 1 of the 2007 RROHS as well as the designations and remarks for each of the substances. It also allows conversion of the PEVs expressed in ppm for conditions other than 25°C and 760 mm of Hg (NTP conditions). Similar to the PELs of OSHA, the RELs of NIOSH and the TLVs® of the ACGIH®, the PEVs of the RROHS expressed in ppm are for 25°C and 760 mm of mercury. PEVs whose units are in mg/m3 or fibres/cm3 are invariable.
