Revision of guides: Sampling of air contaminants in the workplace and Adjustment of permissible exposure values for unusual work schedules Abstract Publication of the Regulation respecting occupational health and safety (ROHS) in September 2001 in fact implied the updating of the Sampling Guide for Air Contaminants in the Workplace and the Adjustment of permissible exposure values for unusual work schedules. These documents are an integral part of the regulation. This activity consisted, first, of completely reworking the guides, mainly by including recent data from the legislation. Subsequently, it involved the migration of the database containing the actual files towards a modern environment. As a result of this work, the updated French and English printed and electronic versions of the two guides are offered, as well as a user-friendly database that will allow rapid updates in the future at low cost.
