Abstract

In response to the many deaths and compensated injuries caused by falls, the CSST has developed an intervention programme for workers, employers, designers and tenants in the construction sector on the subject of the dangers of falls from heights. The IRSST, in response to a request from the CSST, will design and disseminate the technical content of a training programme that inspectors and specialists in prevention and inspection must take before implementing the intervention programme.

This will require Institute specialists to update the training material that they have delivered and validated on many occasions in recent years and integrate new developments related to work practices and the design and fabrication of protective and preventive equipment.
