Definition of a reference framework for the transfer of OHS knowledge and tools for researchers Abstract With the large amount of information that is produced and remains unused, the question of knowledge transfer (KT) is gaining attention. Researchers are therefore being increasingly asked to facilitate the appropriation of knowledge by target publics, among other things through KT research projects whose aim is to produce specific knowledge oriented towards its use by the working environments involved. These projects often require multidisciplinary teamwork, which introduces an additional challenge for researchers in terms of integrating the other disciplines’ knowledge, methods and points of view. This project aims to define a reference framework and tools to support the development of a research program whose purpose is to develop effective and efficient OHS KT strategies and tools at two levels, namely towards the working environment, to improve the integration of prevention factors into the work and decision-making process; and between the researchers and collaborators themselves. The project has three complementary and interdependent components, namely a review of the literature on KT and interdisciplinarity, an investigation on interdisciplinary exchanges, and a component preparatory to case studies on typical occupational health and safety KT research projects.
